Galicia Sketching Retreat – Terms & Conditions
1. Registration & Payment
- A 25% deposit is required to secure your place. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 90 days before the retreat start date (January 26, 2026).
- Payments will be invoiced in EUR
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If you cancel before 120 days prior to departure, any payments made (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
- If you cancel within 120 days of departure, no refunds will be issued unless your spot is filled, in which case a partial refund may be considered.
- In the unlikely event that the retreat is canceled by the organizer, a full refund (including the deposit) will be issued.
- No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or missed activities during the retreat.
3. Travel & Insurance

Flights and transportation to the retreat location are not included.
Travel insurance is provided by InterMundial and handled by our local partner, Pinceladas de España, and covers common issues such as trip interruptions, health emergencies, or delays. We still recommend reviewing the policy details to ensure it fits your personal needs.
4. Accommodation & Room Selection
- Prices are based on the selected accommodation type:
- Standard (Shared Room): €2,795 EUR per person
- Standard (Private Room): €3,195 EUR per person
- Superior (Private All-Inclusive): €3,595 EUR per person
- Twin Share rooms are allocated on a same-gender basis unless a specific roommate request is made.
- Room assignments are confirmed upon full payment and are subject to availability.
5. Itinerary & Activities
- The retreat schedule is subject to change due to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or the discretion of the organizer.
- Activities and workshops are designed for all skill levels, but participants should be prepared for walking and outdoor sketching sessions.
- Any personal expenses, meals outside the provided itinerary, and optional excursions are not included in the retreat price.
6. Conduct & Responsibilities
- Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards fellow participants, staff, and local communities.
- The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant who engages in disruptive or inappropriate behavior without a refund.
- Participants are responsible for their own belongings. The organizer is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
7. Force Majeure
- The organizer is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or travel restrictions.
- In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule or provide alternative solutions, but refunds are not guaranteed.
8. Agreement
By registering for the Galicia Sketching Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
